There has been a long history of traditional  butchers at 4 Church Square, Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Bates Butchers prides itself on sourcing beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game from local suppliers, beef from Orchard Farm, Walcote, lamb and game from the Welland Valley.

Bates Butchers has a reputation for its varieties of sausage from its Lincolnshire style pork to its lamb and mint, beef and Guinness and the hot “n” spicy – all hand linked and made with natural skins and local ingredients.

Expanding from the farmhouse to continental meats and cheeses, Bates delicatessen offers a nice selection of olives, semi dried tomatoes, Parma ham and milano salami and locally made artisan breads and cakes.
