Q Guild members are officially recognised as being among the best butchers in the UK. As such, they have to meet stringent health and hygiene standards, with regular inspections carried out by independent inspectors.

George Payne is a Northumbria Butcher of the Year winner and the shop has clinched many local, regional, national and international awards for its products over the years in meat industry competitions.

George and his team are fully committed to promoting provenance at every opportunity, recognising that customers have a right to know exactly how the meat they eat is produced.
