Eat Game Awards
Game deserves to be celebrated, not just on the plate, but in the craft and creativity that brings it to the table. The Eat Game Awards exist to recognise the people and businesses making game accessible, exciting and relevant in today’s food culture.
From restaurants showcasing bold new flavours to butchers ensuring quality at every cut, these awards honour those who go above and beyond to make game something to be proud of.
Nominations are now open!

Champion of Champions
Nominations are open until 14 December 2025. Anyone can nominate their favourite game champions across all categories. Once nominations close, entries will be reviewed, and a shortlist will be drawn up based on quality, innovation, sustainability and impact, which will be announced on 17 December.
A panel of expert judges – including chefs, food writers, and industry leaders – will then review the shortlists in the new year to decide on the three finalists for each category which will be announced on 16 January 2026.
For categories where it applies (restaurants, pubs, butchers) mystery shoppers will visit the finalists to experience the offering first-hand and they will be judged against a set of clear criteria.
For non-visit categories, judges will review social media, websites, and customer reviews to make their decision, also based against a set of clear criteria.
The Champion of Champions category will be decided by a public vote, which will be run throughout February to decide the ultimate winner – the individual or business that’s made the biggest impact in celebrating and promoting game to a wider audience, with the winner announced on the night of the awards.
