The Newbottle Estate, together with Robert Johnson, a highly experienced butcher, purchased Brackley Butchers in June 2006. Robert has over 25 years experience as a butcher and ran the business in Brackley under the Dewhurst name for 10 years prior to acquiring the business with the Newbottle Estate.

The business was purchased to provide an outlet for Newbottle Beef, high quality Aberdeen Angus cattle farmed on the Estate. The meat is hung for up to 4 weeks to produce a uniquely tender and flavoursome meat. As well as Newbottle Beef the Estate Longhorn Beef will also be available from time to time as and when available.

The best way to purchase meat from the shop is to visit it personally, there is ample parking immediately adjacent in the market square and Robert and his dedicated team will be able to advise you on the best cuts of meat there are available and will personally butcher and dress it to any of your requirements.

You can also order through telephone or fax. Robert specialises in preparing packs of meat for BBQ’s and large special events. The burgers are all hand made, sausages all home made using only the finest natural ingredients, free range chickens are also available. Discounts are available for large orders.
